大一, students work on a small group research project related to either science or mathematics. A faculty mentor provides guidance and instruction as participants learn the process of researching. 学生 meet approximately one and a half to two hours per week throughout the academic year to discuss and research a chosen topic.

At the conclusion of the year, ACTION hosts a 博天堂官方网站 Symposium where students display posters and give short presentations describing their research to faculty, 管理员, 父母, and others in attendance from the community and the state. This project provides a unique opportunity for freshmen to be involved in research.
